API status
The extension talks to https://api.pools.markets. Its read endpoints are reachable without a session and third parties can call them, but there is no versioning, stability or deprecation promise yet. Shapes can change with any release. Do not build on them without accepting that.
Reachable without a session
| Endpoint | What it returns |
|---|---|
GET /health | Service status and build revision |
GET /chains | Chains the API currently serves, with namespace, chain id and name |
GET /launchpads | Launchpads currently enabled, with adapter version |
GET /discovery?launchpadId=… | Tokens currently carrying a question on that launchpad, with launch state and progress |
GET /markets/… | One market, its pools and lifecycle status |
GET /config | Operational controls: whether market creation is paused, and any disabled chains, launchpads or templates |
Session-bound
Positions, settled history, wallet, swap, send, Earn and market entry require a Pools Markets session tied to the extension. They are not offered to third parties.
Rules the API already follows
GETnever creates a market, submits a position, triggers settlement or mutates a checkpoint.- Amounts are integer base units or decimal strings with an explicit asset. No binary floating point for money.
- Commands carry stable idempotency keys.
What a public release will add
An explicit base URL and environment, a versioned schema as the source of truth, authentication rules, pagination and filter semantics, rate limits, stable error codes, and a deprecation and changelog policy. Until those exist, this page is the whole promise.
