Earn

Earn is a share of protocol fees. When someone you invited enters markets, and those markets settle and collect a fee, part of that fee goes to you, and part goes back to them as a rebate.

It is not points, not a token, and not a pre-launch reward. It is funded only by fees that were really collected. A market that voids or refunds produced no fee, so it produces nothing here.

Earn is live on Robinhood Chain, BNB Chain and Solana: creating a code, binding an invitee, attributing fees and automatic delivery. See What is live.

Where it is

In the extension: Rewards (the store listing calls the tab Earn). You need a verified email first, because the code follows your account across devices. Choose the friend rebate you want to offer, create the code, copy it or share it as a link on pools.markets.

Who counts as invited

  • A person becomes your invitee when they enter your 8-character code during sign-up, or arrive through your pools.markets referral link and then sign up, and verify their email.
  • The relationship binds at that moment and is permanent. One account belongs to one referrer. Logging in on another device, adding a wallet account, or trading on another chain does not change it.
  • A code cannot be used by its own owner. An unknown or inactive code is rejected at sign-up. A code entered after an account is already bound is ignored.

What is shared

For every finalised, non-void market, the protocol fee is attributed to each trader in proportion to their confirmed stake in that market, regardless of which outcome they chose or whether they won. Only stake placed after the relationship was bound counts.

Each code has a budget, expressed as a percentage of the invitee’s attributed fee, and that budget is split:

ShareGoes to
Friend rebatethe invitee, as a rebate on the fee they paid
Directyou, the owner of the code
Networkthe partner above you, if one exists

The budget depends on your tier:

TierBudget, as a share of the attributed fee
Base25%
Growth30%
Pro35%
Elite40%
Genesis50%, assigned by operations, expires after 90 days

You choose the friend rebate: 5%, 10%, 15% or 20%, default 10%. The network share, when an upstream partner exists, is 5% carved out of the budget, never added on top. You keep the remainder. Tiers above Base are evaluated daily on rolling 30-day performance, which the Rewards screen shows. The split locks when the first trader uses the code; a later tier change applies to new codes.

The on-chain contracts reserve at most half of each market’s fee for these rewards, so the sum of all shares can never exceed 50% of the fee, and a market’s rewards can never be paid from another market or from anyone’s stake.

A worked example

Market fee collected 0.030 ETH Your invitee's share of stake 25% Invitee's attributed fee 0.0075 ETH Your tier: Base (25% budget), friend rebate 10%, no upstream partner Friend rebate 10% × 0.0075 = 0.00075 ETH → invitee Direct 15% × 0.0075 = 0.001125 ETH → you

With an upstream partner, 5% goes to them and your direct share becomes 10%.

When it is paid

Rewards are journaled in the pass after the market resolves and paid automatically on the same clock as the traders’ payouts. There is no claim step. The Rewards screen shows each amount as PENDING and then as delivered, with a note if an automatic payment needs operator attention. Payment is bounded per market: a reward can never exceed what that market reserved.

When it is zero

  • The invitee has not traded, or their markets have not settled yet.
  • The market voided or refunded. No fee, no reward.
  • The market collected no fee, for example because nobody staked on the losing side.
  • The stake was placed before the relationship was bound.
  • Self-referral, circular funding or wash trading. These are excluded from attribution rather than paid.
  • The invitee’s account is restricted under the terms .

No trades, no fee, no Earn.

Conduct

Partners must not promise profit, risk-free income or inside information, must disclose the commercial relationship, and must not target minors or people excluded by the terms.
